Emerald Rose, which formed in 1996, was one of the top Celtic Folk Rock bands in the Southeast U.S. They have performed all over the U.S. and in Ireland and they typically feature a mix of unique interpretations of traditional Irish folk songs as well as original music. They performed at MegaCon in Orlando a few different years which is where the video above is from. They were even headliners for the Lord of the Rings Oscar parties in Hollywood in 2003 and 2004. Alas, the band is no more. They had their final live show last October. Band members included Arthur Hinds, Brian "Logan" Sullivan, Larry Morris and Clyde Gilbert.

This particular song is a traditional Scottish song that was popularized by Silly Wizard. Like most traditional songs they perform, I like their version best.
