Alternative weekend - Being unknown
The #AlternativeWeekend challenge was started by @slobberchops as a place to feature music outside the mainstream. I noticed about it because of @steevc
In the original @slobbberchops post he told us why he wanted to start this challenge:
I have been posting most weekends using @detlev’s #metalweekend tag, but my main love of music is progressive and alternative music. Some of my posts have included these songs, but I feel they are not keeping with the spirit of metal.
I will continue to post article’s using #metalweekend occasionally but feel I have more to offer regarding these other genre’s that I am more familiar with.
And then he explains how it works:
Introducing #alternativeweekend. Post an article that highlights THREE great songs that are either progressive or alternative and use the tag #alternativeweekend.

The Front - Le Motion
The Front is an American rock band, born in Kansas, Missouri. They only released an album 'The Front' in 1989 on Columbia/CBS. The band was leaded by Michael Anthony Franano a great singer with obvious similarities to Jim Morrison.
Bakers Pink - Watercolours
Bakers Pink is a continuation of The Front project with some little changes on the lineup. They maintain his rock style and Michael Anthony Franano is still awesome on the way he sings.
Enuff Z'Nuff - New Thing
Enuff Z'Nuff is another American band, this one from Illinois. They released their first album called like the band in 1989 with Atco label. They mix Glam rock with power pop melodies. They have just released a new album 'Diamond Boy'
