In this particular Post I mentioned a Friend of Mine Dale P who I had turned on to Evanescence?,
it was not long and Dale invited me around to see what he had discovered , and I sat at his Place in Kenmare watching Nightwish on Big Screen TV!
He had a hard time finally getting me to go back Home!
I was totally mesmerised, That note Tarja hits and holds at the end of The Phantom of the Opera, is alone worth the price of admission!
They had immediately gained a new Fan, here was a Metal Band with one of Finland's Best Opera Singer's fronting it , what could go wrong?
Well at the end of this particulat Concert ( End of an Era) they handed her a Letter dismissing her from the Band?
What a Drummer!
In May 2007, Nightwish announced Anette Olzon as TarjaTurunen's replacement. The first Album with Her was Dark Passion Play , a very successful Album.
This is the First Single from it, for me personally?, a Very Good Singer, The Band is in Top Form , but it lacked that something special that was Tarja!

In 2012 Nightwish parted ways with Anette and brought in Floor Jansen and again I am really impressed !

To be honest i like how floor performs some of thr older songs. But tarja is hard to beat.

Yeeessss. Nightwish with Tarja's voice has no equal - to this day, I scratch my head over why they let her go.
Ghost Love Score with Jansen is probably my favorite symphonic metal song ever.
