Testing Out my New Guitar

in #music5 years ago (edited)

I've been working on a lot of projects that I'm excited to share with you soon in the future. For now, here's some art I've made for an art show coming up and a video of me freestyling a new (used) guitar I recently bought

It was fun to draw (Watercolor pencils)

Here is the soundcloud link to another song I just wrote this morning called Alive

I hope everyone is hanging on and doing well. I have to take it day by day, hour by hour, sometimes. I've been in a really bad funk lately; depression is a fucking asshole. One minute I'm creating beautiful things. Next, I can't get out of bed. Anyways, much love to everyone. I appreciate and am humbled by all of your support.

heya @amethystmidnight , i like the sound you got happening with your guitar :) you should enter in the steemit open mic comps with some of this stuffs :)

i dabble a little with guitarz but havent done it in a while so im very rusty, but im tryna get back up on that horse.

I'm not familiar with those! I'll check it out. Thank you! 💚 You should definitely take some time to relearn it! There's nothing like a therapeutic release of emotions through vibrations

its a great comp with awesome people doing what they do best :) its fantastic being among like minded people, it can also bring new inspirations in ones own works.

i have always found solace in music, be it listening to, singing, playing. Everything we experience in our life is a vibrational frequency detected by the senses the interpreted by the brain. Indeed it may be the case that frequency is god ;)

I'm currently reading the first book of the EarthSeed series in my art class and the character thinks god is change. This makes absolute sense if we are all frequencies constantly in motion.
