I am a big fan of Tom Cruise in action movies, and I really liked the Jack Reacher movies. I might enjoy the Mission Impossible movies even more, as they are much more of action and humor at the same time, but Jack Reacher (both the movies) were movies I had a good time watching!
If you like Tom Cruise, and haven't seen the Mission Impossible movies, you should. As you say they are more action and stunts, also enjoyable.
