Be mindful of the honest cop.

This is a movie that doesn't quite follow your standard script that a lot of Hollywood movies do these days. It is what a fast paced action movie with a good plot can be. OK there may be subtitles but some of the best movies around aren't in English. This is one worth seeing, the action scenes are done very well and the scenery is also very good.



This is set in the not too distant future in the ghettos of Paris which have been walled off from the rest of Paris. The area is a lost cause and the police don't bother going there. Hence, the crime lords rule the ghetto. Just like anything, nothing lasts forever. We have a young guy (Leito) that wants to bring down the crime boss.

The crime boss of course isn't about to let his authority be challenged and kidnaps Leito's sister. The rescue attempt doesn't go according to plan and Leito winds up in police custody.

A number of moths later the crime boss manages to get his hands on a very powerful bomb, the task of recovering the bomb is given to an undercover cop whom teams up with Leito. The bomb's timer has been engaged, which means that they only have 24 hours to recovery it and stop the deaths of the people in the ghetto.

It isn't of course as simple as that, someone else is playing another game, are they supposed to even be able to get close or have they simply been setup to fail?
