10| Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle

This is just a perfect movie to get stoned to with your homies or whatever. Both Harold and Kumar get super stoned and realize that they want to go on a bit of a trip to get some burgers from White Castle. But along the way shit gets pretty crazy. Shit that will make you laugh your ass off. Just keep your blunt real close.

9| Up In Smoke

Without a doubt a classic. 2 of the most iconic weed smokers in world. Stoned through the entire movie, Cheech and Chong unknowingly smuggle a van made entirely of marijuana from Mexico to the United States. The entire time they're being pursued by the police but they continue to unknowingly avoid the cops every time. It's pretty fuckin' funny. If you haven't seen this, you're fuckin' up.

8| Grandma's Boy

One of my favorite movies to watch. Used to load up my mini-bong constantly while this movie was playing. I don't think I've seen this movie sober, if I'm being honest here. Anyways, in this movie a video game tester named Alex gets evicted from his home and ends up having to live with his grandmother. One of the funniest characters from this movie is Dante, Alex's weed dealer. He comes off as one of those Tommy Chong forgetful type stoners. First time we meet him he's butt naked decorating his christmas tree in July. It's fucking hilarious.

7| Pineapple Express

This is one of those movies that should definitely be on everyone's list when it comes to stoner movies. I mean how could it not, it's named after a strain of weed. And they smoke weed pretty much throughout the entire movie. I love it. The whole concept of the movie revolves around marijuana. Even the opening scene shows a fictional situation where the government is testing marijuana on a soldier, played by Bill Hader, and he becomes defiant and starts to let loose a little more as he smokes on the joint they give him to smoke. One of the funniest scenes in a movie ever, for sure.

6| High School

This movie is SUPER underrated. Every time I ask people if they've seen this movie, they think that I'm talking about the Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg movie. But no, this is NOT that movie. This movie is about 2 old friends in high school who reconnect after years of not speaking. One a stoner and one an honors student. They hangout together and get super stoned in a tree house together. The next day the school decides they're going to do a school wide drug testing and expell any students who don't pass. The stoner of course isn't stressed about the situation, but the honors student freaks the fuck out. So they come up with a plan to get the entire school high, so that no one can pass.

5| Dazed And Confused

An absolute classic. Whenever I watch this movie I think that this is what it was like when my grandmother was a teenager. From the fashion displayed in the movie to the soundtrack, you really get the feel of the 70's, without a doubt. Around the time when marijuana began to get more and more popular. Just about every one in this movie smokes weed. It even has that classic scene where Wooderson asks Mitch if he's got a joint on him. Mith replies back saying "No, not on me man," and Wooderson replies back "It'd be a lot cooler if you did." Classic scene. I loved it.

4| Friday

If you haven't seen this one, you need to get on it, for real. A classic for anyone a who is a fan of Ice Cube, or anyone from California period, honestly. Craig gets fired from work on his day off. So he spends his day chillin' in the hood with his homie Smokey. Who gets him high for the first time. He's got that classic line of persuasion that damn near everyone remembers; "I'ma get you high today. Cuz it's Friday, you ain't got no job, and you ain't got shit to do!" Classic line anyone uses to get their friends to smoke with 'em. I've had it used on myself haha, for sure.

3| How High

There's no way that a movie starring both Method Man and Redman isn't a stoner movie. 2 of Hip Hop's biggest potheads come together like they usually do and show you what it might be like if two of the world's biggest stoners attended Harvard. I mean, the only reason they made it to Harvard is because they smoke their dead homie's ashes and while they're high, his ghost gives them the answers to all the questions on their qualification test. I mean, that's stoner comedy at it's best. Nothing too serious, something to sit down and laugh to. Burn one while you watch this.

2| Half Baked

Everything about this movie screams "SMOKE WEED WHILE YOU WATCH THIS!" It includes a group of stoner friends who are all roommates. They smoke weed every day together and have been since they were young. When one of them gets sent to prison, they think of a ton of ways to help get him out. And they end up selling weed all around New York City. Potheads selling weed never goes too well, but hey, sometimes it does. As the story goes on and on, they topic of marijuana stays at the center of this movie's plot. If you're a stoner, this is one you gotta see. For sure.

1| Super High Me

This movie is not only fun to watch while you're stoned but it also really informs you about marijuana culture and the possible effects that it may have on you. Comedian Doug Benson stays completely sober for 30 days then smokes weed all day every day for 30 days straight. It's kind of a play off of the movie Super Size Me, where the guy eats McDonald's for 30 days straight. It was originally a joke that Doug Benson wrote, but some filmmakers found it interesting enough to make a documentary about it. They make him do things like take the SAT test and test his physical health both sober and while high on marijuana. It's interesting and hilarious all at the same time. If you're a stoner and you're as fascinated with weed culture as much as I am, this is definitely a must watch.
