The Usual Suspects (1995) by Bryan Singer (REVIEW)

in #movie6 years ago

After a massive explosion exploded on a ship in San Pedro, California with 27 men dead there seems to be a lone survivor horrible burned while there were 91 million dollars’ worth of cocaine are missing from the ship in a mysterious way.

The police detective Dave Kujan seems to have the only witness that can explain what have happened on the ship and how the drugs were able to vanish just like that. The witness was called “Verbal”, his nickname was Kint because of his inability to keep his mouth shut and he started to describe the event that day that lead to the huge explosion and drug vanishing.

The movie is intense, Kevin Spacey as “Verbal” Kint won an Oscar with this role, and his performance was on the top. This movie is a nerve-shredding suspense movie, entertaining crime till the end.

The most famous quote in this movie was from Kevin Space and it goes like this: “The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exists.” This quote is pretty famous and it goes well with the movie.

If you are suspense fan then I think this will be a very good watch, this one is on my top 5 list for suspense/mystery movies.
