Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) by J.J. Abrams (REVIEWS)

in #movie5 years ago

Awaiting the "this-no-e-old-track" reviews by the juicy refined fans and fans of the cult series, a small review of the 12th Star Trek movie (or second from the "new" ) directed by JJ Abrams.

If you're a fan of the series, one thing is clear: Star Trek is Enterprise, Enterprise is Star Trek. Enterprise is not an ordinary ship, Enterprise is the ship we grew up and we drove through the universe. Enterprise is not a metallic object, it is almost a living creature, we feel every wound from an enemy missile, and whenever we see a hole in the ship, it causes us anger and anger, and generally we wish bad things to happen to the souls. Let's summarize the thought: just to see the Enterprise fly through the cosmos, and just look at the command bridge, it's enough to transit. From a glimpse through the glass of the command bridge, you are Captain with your personal mission and you can boldly go where nobody was before you.

The film is a continuation of the story of the young boat lineup led by James Tiberius Kirk, i.e. their quenching from youth and green to characters matured for major endeavors and missions. This time without time-travel complications that caused many reactions last time, the story is clearer and easier, but not something special. But I think Star Trek can never have any spectacular story, so I do not bother with it. Star Trek lives on the characters, the stars and the elegance of the ship. Now in 3D and super resolutions for maximum admiration.

From all the characters this time the strongest impression left me Benedict Cumberbatch in the role of "villain" Khan. It was simply a central phenomenon in the film. The effects were top, especially in the end of the film. What I do not like is, according to me, the completely missed Soundtrack. Far from saying "War of the Stars" and an excessively unnecessary mix of genres. Very bad.

This new series of Star Trek films has enormous potential, I can only imagine what they will do with the effects when a conflict with the Klingons arrives. But they must not lengthen the story unnecessarily.
