HOW TO. Motocross. Freeze Frame Track Jump.

On an older track, with slightly smaller jumps I had a go at a new (new for me) photo editing method. Freeze frame editing takes image/video stills from a video at different stages of movement. Once the images have been selected they need to be pieced together to create one overall image that shows the entire sequence of movement.

Certain parts of different layers need to be erased or cropped to reveal the under lying image.

A little Photoshop using layers and results are as follows.

The photo below is made up of 7 separate image stills from one video.

Looking at the final results it is clear to see the complete 'movement' in one shot. The spacing between each frame is easily controlled and number of images used can be chosen.
