Der Samurai zeichnete sich dadurch aus, dass er voller Hingabe seine Aufgaben erfüllt und diese auch nicht hinterfragt. Ein Krieger, der sich seiner Pflicht bewusst ist, seinem Land zu dienen wird unter seinesgleichen hoch angesehen. Um diese Tugend zu meistern, benötigt es Vertrauen seinem Herren gegenüber.
