Our influences (and influencers) are crucial to the way we develop and grow (or don't), but I think many people are unaware of that, of how easily influenced they are, on how much the world around them means. They say you should surround yourself with quality people, and although we hear it often, we rarely listen. It becomes so easy to slip...so what if X is a bad influence, I'm not so easily influenced.
