How Much Exercise You Need If You Sit All DaysteemCreated with Sketch.

People who work at computers all day have back, neck, and joint pain from being too idle. This makes people wonder how many hours of exercise they should get. sit down.

We Sapiens are not naturally sedentary; our society has made us that way. Saved: A new study found ways to lower the risks.

The National Institute of Statistics says that the French sit for seven hours every day, which does not include sleep. This should be cut down to 4 hours, but sometimes that's not possible because of the nature of the job. Spending a lot of time at work or on the couch is bad for our health.

Bad alignment is something we all do, and it hurts our lower backs, necks, and trapezius muscles. Over time, not being active raises the chance of getting fat, heart disease, and dementia.

Is it possible to lessen these effects? Finally, a study published in the British Journal of Sport Medicine has told us how much exercise we should do. It was found that doing 22 minutes of moderate to intense physical exercise every day lowers a number of health risks.

During this time, you can do a short walk that makes it hard to breathe or a circuit workout with moves that work a lot of muscles and the whole body.

A study of more than 11,000 patients was done over 16 years to see if these exercises could counteract the effects of sitting at a desk or on the couch for long periods of time. The death rates of people over 50 from different countries were looked at to see if their lack of activity led to their deaths.

People who sat for 12 hours a day had a higher risk of death compared to people who worked out for 22 minutes a day and sat less.

Other experts say that even an hour a day at the gym is not enough. This can help us move better and be healthier. Moving around every day should be a priority. For example, we could walk home from work or do 10 minutes of yoga or mobility routines in the morning.

Some people have bought walkers to walk around while they work, while others have bought flexible desks to work while standing up. If you can't afford it, don't take the lift. Instead, take the stairs or stand up from your work every half hour to stretch.

It's important to find active things to do, like hiking, paddleboarding, football, riding, or swimming on the weekends. Lastly, we need to do things that make us feel good and make healthy habits. It's tough when you have more things to do than hours in the day, but it's worth it in the end.
