Sleep As Much as You Need!

Sleeping is such a hotly debated topic these days.

To my surprise, actually. How can we debate sleep when there is so much evidence of its importance on cognitive function and general health and wellness?

Sleep is so vital that it seeps into everything that you do throughout the dy.

If you take care of having a great sleep schedule then you will see these profound benefits play out accordingly in your life.

I cannot recommend it enough:

Get your sleep!

The second part to this thread on Twitter that I was reading a minute ago really drives home the point of the cycle of sleeping well.

If you are distressed and you don't sleep well, then it will make you more stressed in the coming day.

Being more stressed in the coming day will mean less productivity and ultimately, less sleep.

This gives rise to yet another bad night of sleep.

And so goes the slippery slope of a poor sleeping schedule.

The best way that I have found to remedy this is to relax your mind and just do breathing exercises before bed.

Lay down and clear your thoughts and just focus on your breath. Deeply. In and out.
