Boots on the Ground
Boots on the ground is a phrase that I like to remind myself of when work gets tiring and the burden of getting a lot of effort behind a project gets a little overwhelming.
To me, putting boots on the ground means deploying your own strength and your own effort towards the things that matter each day.
For example,
you may need to work hard by doing a ton of the same activity.
Putting the reps in becomes important to whatever it is that you're trying to do.
Perhaps you're trying to get strong in the weight room.
Or
Perhaps you're trying to build your mental acumen by reading and writing.
Perhaps, similarly, you are trying to build a business for the long-term and to do so requires that you do a massive amount of hard labor to build your starting capital and income.
Income coming into a business is vital in the first steps and in all steps that follow.
No matter what happens, building this income requires a lot of hard work and a lot of passion for the process.
Staying passionate can be tough but if you learn to overcome the hard times, you will come to see the amazing times that come with building something that you are so passionate about!
