حتى تعلم أن في داخلنا طفل لا يريد أن يكبر، ونحن فقط ببرمجتنا وضعنا عليه الغبار ونقاوم خروجه وتعبيره عن نفسه، أحب أن أستمد ذلك من الواقع الذي أشاهده... أنا وأخي اﻷكبر مني ب 12 عام.. جالسين، هو يشاهد أخبار السياسة كالمعتاد، وأنا فقط أواسيه بالجلوس.. ممسك بهاتفي وأتصفح حسابي في ستيميت، وفي الطرف المقابل من البهو أولاده الصغيرين (أسية و مهدي) يلعبان في الحاسوب، من فترة إلى أخرى أنتبه لأخي فأجده يشاهد مايلعبه الطفلين ولا يشاهد السياسة، ويشاهد بشغف... كيف عرفت بشغف؟ كان مهدي يتحرك فيغطي الشاشة برأسه وكان أخي يغير وضعية جلوسه ليتمكن من المشاهدة ...

عبارة سمعتها من أحد المدربين ولازالت تعني الكثير "لسنا لا نلعب لأننا كبرنا، بل كبرنا لأننا لا نلعب"
