lets claim a reward = claim reward: 3.166 STEEM, 0.000 SBD, and 3.316 SP this was from a $6.25 article, it is also after everyone else had taken their cut, so for that $6.25 we have a return in steem of 6.482 if my adding up is correct. So if you are a believer in the long term project that is steemit, the system at this moment in time, is bleeding steem into the system.
Every step of the way on here seems to bring a new equation into play, from SBD riding high at $12 last xmas, to no SBD even being paid out, it is all new to me, and maybe you, though I like statistics and it does to a certain extent keep me interested.
I put in a few weeks ago a few hundred euros, to see if it would be possible to turn that into 500 sp, I still have 3 weeks to find out, as I set myself a 4 week deadline, it amuses me, and amusement is or should be part of the journey in life.
I know not everybody has spare money, and also how difficult it can be even buying steem, though if you do have a few of them $ spare, I would dare to say, there is no better time than now to invest them in here.
Also I have recently found @smartmarket, if you do not like bidbots, give these people a try, you get real votes from real people, and a very good return on your investment, I am in no way affiliated with them, just giving you a heads up is all. Superb time to put a few quid in here, the returns in steem are fantastic, and if you believe in the system as a long term investment, I say go for it. Just having lunch now then back to painting the rd 350 lc :-)

Are you up to speed on these smartsteem and smartmarket things? - I don't understand any of it but can see if things recover, now is the time to gain some footing.
It's all a gamble - have you ever been to the TT? - I guess Steemit right now is a bit like that :)
Not much to understand with smartmarket to be fair, just send them some steem and they upvote you +10% though with payouts in steem and sp it works out a lot more, I have also been on their site, it seems well set out too.
Yes been to the TT a few times, even flew over once in a 4 seater plane we hired, I got to fly it over the Irish sea, my first ever taste of flying a plane, I did go off course a little, though my mate Vanden who was the real pilot got us back on course and we landed at Douglass airport no problems, I have a really funny story to tell about that also, maybe tonight bro.
So let's wait that moment when price of Steem will increase and investment give you profit!

Something like that yes.
Lots of competition coming online, other social media running with the crypto payout scheme, one suppose to run a lot like FB. Could be harder for steem to recover if another site takes off and is more inviting to use. Couple people on here that have been here for awhile say they wouldn't recommend people invest...maybe they are seeing something some aren't. I've been thinking about putting some pocket change in, whereas before I was contemplating a bit more than that by the end of the year but I don't think I will chance that without seeing a price improvement.
Pocket change is the idea, I certainly would not advise pumping big in here, as like you say, there is now some serious competition not just on the horizon, here and now.

Strange, my firefox does not say that, though I am using linux, and the linux version as I rid myself of microsoft a few weeks ago.
Just go to your wallet, type in smartmarket as recipient, the amount you want to send in steem or sbd, then your post url, click send, enter active key, relax and wait for upvotes, then enjoy the double sp payout.
