Monomad Photo Challenge for December 11th, 2018 — "Road Turns"
This is our entry for today for the #monomad black-and-white photochallenge, originally started by @brumest:
I liked the idea of doing an "artistic" series of photos, so I thought we'd try this as a daily challenge on behalf of the Red Dragonfly Gallery for a while.
"Road Turns"
Part of our daily drive home from the Gallery takes us past a local lake, where the road — quite literally — turns 90-degrees left. If you go straight, you end up in the lake (or on the ice, as the case might be). The only warning is the small arrow sign; the water is immediately on the other side of the thicket.
Started by making the shot black-and-white, then "antiqued" it a bit because it looked a little harsh and cold.

Red Dragonfly Gallery News:
That's actually it for today! No particular news from the Gallery, since today is Tuesday which is our weekly closing day.
Wishing you all a great evening, and we'll be back with more tomorrow!
