Freedom is a choice!!

I am trying to remember if I saw a movie titled 'Freedom Fighters', I'm not sure since I can't gain cognizant of it. Freedom is everything a man can wish for. Making a wish into the tiny wind and air is not yet a necessity compared to when a man prays, fight and seeks to find his freedom.

Freedom to me, is getting to do what I want to do, without restrictions. When I was a child, I looked forward to the day I can leave the house without been asked unnecessary questions.

At a point of our lives, we all sought for freedom using different devices. Freedom from slavery. I was told the stories of the black slave trade in the 1800's and how those who tried to flee were gunned down.

They all wanted freedom, to have a life of their own, to have a woman they can call a wife, kids to bear their name. All of these were impossible.

Likewise also we have those who are in deep trouble, they want freedom from poverty. The cankerworm that eats up a man so much that he adapts the nature of his financial state.

What exactly do you think freedom is?

Is it just the ability to express your feelings, emotions, get married to that person your heart belongs to and have kids?

No, freedom is more than that. My country gained their independence after prayers, fights and work - that is how freedom is gotten, everyone was born free and freedom is a choice
