Pennsif's Sustainability Curation Digest for MSP - week ending 21 October 2018

in #minnowsupport6 years ago

It was all about Netcoins this past week.

But there was still time for some great sustainability related posts to pop out of the steem blog factory.

Another week older, another week netwiser.

The voting is over now so you definitely have time to check out these picks of the week...

And two more that are well worth a read and an upvote...

I am always on the lookout for posts to include in this weekly Sustainability Curation Digest.

I am also always seeking out new guests for my radio show that I host on MSP Waves Radio every Thursday.

If you are interesting in coming on the show, or if you have suggestions for suitable posts for this digest, feel free to comment below, or contact me on Discord @Pennsif#9921.

I also run a charitable giving project called A Dollar A Day - you can read more about that here :

I am looking for more projects to support with that and I am particularly interested in finding some sustainability / renewables related projects.

The Minnow Support Project has multiple curators that pick five posts from under-valued minnows each week to highlight through MSP3k. This way MSP and PAL can promote new writers and content creators on Steemit, and in effect reward them for doing a superior job.

Thanks again for the feature @pennsif! Sorry I was a bit slow on the uptake. Only reading it now. But you have some lovely features. Already following a couple who do such inspiring posts (@walkerland and @rawadventuress are favourites!)

I hope the goats are doing well.

We had a go with Angora goats for their fibre, but never yet for milk.

My goats are flourishing, thanks for remembering @pennsif! The kids are getting big, my Dad (another homesteader and animal whisperer) just visited and got to enjoy the goats. I'm going to be doing a post on goats in the coming week. Either cheese or soap making. I have so many requests. Did you see the last my last goats post (about the cheese)? How did you find the Angora? We considered introducing a couple but it is far too hot here over summer.

We had a lot of problems with our goats escaping. Totally wrecking our orchard on one occasion. So they went. Pigs were easier, but not so good for their wool 😃

Thanks for the mention! :D
