Minnow of the Week: The Unfortunate Enthusiast Writer
My name is Hazel Hiloma, 30 years of age, married with three children. Currently, I am working as Sr. Branch Sales Officer in a retail store engaged in retailing and marketing of audio and video, electronics and related IT products. During my school years, I was one of the writers in our school publication. Therefore, I am encourage to sign up in steemit to practice my writing skills again as well as sharpen my minds to a wider dimension in the world of cryptocurrency.

I've known steemit from one of my staff which I couldn't mention because he did not told us his username. I am very grateful that he introduce me to this platform. Today is my 9th day on steemit. It was really a struggle. Even if I have posted a well-written blog, no one seems to noticed. I hardly earned an upvote. I wanted to build my reputation, so I tried to send 0.01 or 0.001 SBD to some bot that can upvote my post. My steem dollar (which I earned in my introduction) is limited therefore I cannot afford other bot. I joined community in discord to expand my friends in steemit but I guess its not enough. It's really difficult to be noticed specially that there are lots of post from spammers.
MY GOAL
My goal on steemit is to support enthusiast writer, poet and blogger shares their emotions and views in a specific topic that will let them earn. It's hypocrite to tell if I join here not to earn money because the platform lets you earn but most specially to contribute valuable content in writing. I am totally disappointed to those people who claim to be a writer but just posted memes but earned more than a real writer does. Life is really unfair.
THE VALUES THAT I AM GOING TO BRING
The values that I am going to bring in the community is QUALITY-CONTENT WRITING, COOPERATION, EXCELLENCE and TEAMWORK. In this way, I can help the community. QUALITY- CONTENT WRITING to top over spammer's post. COOPERATION to help minnows grow. Aim for EXCELLENCE in everything we do to improve in our endeavor. TEAMWORK to help the platform grow and improve in terms of stability and reliability.
WHY I DESERVED TO WIN?
Because I am a minnow whose writings are not being noticed. It is just a small thing but it means a lot to me.

Since I was not introduced by anyone and don't have opportunity to be aware that there is shortcut. I believe I am going to win big as a blogger with higher quality content just as you believed. I am about to feel disappointed when I remembered that something good take time to be noticed or achieved but last forever. So. I wrote
Even if there no improvement in policy to favour quality content, the reputation you will built over time will earn you what you deserve. Keep the good job up.
Meanwhile hope you are showing concerns for others just as you want it. That is what I just done for you.

Hi Hazel! Starting at steemit is hard but it gets better day by day. Just engage yourself to comment a lot to let people see you actually read there posts. I am already using that technique since yesterday myself because someone told me to do so and it really works. On a 12 hour range, i'm already having great results. Keep steeming, with your motivation and writing skills, you can make it here on steemit. The only things you need to work on now is being noticed. Then you will do just fine.
