o the sea (poem)
Where the earth ends the blue of your waters begins,
deep abyss of greatness and mystery,
let the bottom of your waters wash us,
that deep mysteries enclose.
Centuries passed to discover new continents,
the fear of the stranger set us apart,
what happens in that dark sky
that, that far away, you can only see
water and more water.
Dying of thirst in the sea is terrible,
dying having so much water at our disposal,
we are creators of our destiny
we forge our routes,
pirates and bandits are found in these waters,
The law of the sea is the law of wild men.
Coastal city of heart,
the sea in your waters I will lose my dreams.
