Show Notes

This week on Middle Theory, in addition to a discussion about conspiracy theories, belief in them, and media manipulation, we focus on the unrest and controversy surrounding the Antifa groups and their counter-protest activities.

What is a “conspiracy theory”, and why do people believe them?

Is there an element of “group-think” involved here, and how does media bias pay into this?

We examine the roots of conspiracy theories on this week’s program, while also looking at whether there is some precedent to the idea that elements of the mainstream media is controlled, or at least influenced, by outside sources… most notably intelligence agencies.

Then shifting our attention to Antifa, the anti-fascist organization launching counter-protests against white nationalists and Neo-Nazi groups in recent weeks, we ask the pertinent question of whether they are actually helping by engaging in violent confrontations, or merely adding to the chaos?

Even acclaimed political commentator Noam Chomsky has decried Antifa, which led to his dismissal by many liberal commentators as being “irrelevant.” However, similar contest to Antifa’s actions has come from the Southern Poverty Law Center, among others.

At the end of the day, is Antifa doing more harm than good?

imo ANTIFA is doing WAY more harm than good... and could very well end up making the public sympathetic to the group whose motto is "Nature is the ultimate fascist!"

Quite possibly.

Both ANTIFA and the White Nationalists are collectivist groups that fell for the divide and conquer tactic. ANTIFA is the communist group that sees everything as fascist, and the White Nationalists vice versa. The deep state has played them, trying to start a civil war, so that they can turn the US into a totalitarian regime.
The true red pill is voluntaryism - the State can't help you, only you, yourself, can.

Voluntaryism isn't the red pill. You have to understand the current paradigm is the result of 2000 years of governmental adaptation; that Turning our nation into an unsustainable utopia where people interact in a State of Anarchy each as sovereign beings, is not going to make America better.

"unsustainable utopia where people interact in a State of Anarchy"
This is basically the free market concept -- not at all utopian.

Voluntaryism actually doesn't necessarily argue from the point of practicality (e.i. utilitarian results.) It argues more so, that anything else than voluntary interaction must be: theft, assault, rape, kidnap or murder. It argues that any initiated uninvited force must be immoral.

And who enforces morality? A co-opt of armed men who've sworn fealty to the fictional morality that your group created.

Negative rights, such as self-ownership and property, can't be enforced but only defended. You can't enforce "non-invasion" of property, you can only defend it from invasion.

Positive rights, such as healthcare, must be enforced and can't be defended. You must enforce someones right to healthcare. Healthcare isn't defended from invasion, such as a negative right - it's defended from "non-invasion." To enforce healthcare, you must force a person to perform it.

Thus, no person will enforce these morals, but defend them form invasion. That is, property is necessarily defended, and not enforced.

In practice, this could be either self-defense or hired defense (private defense agencies.) Such agencies could sell insurance contracts to clients - essentially a private police force (but with competition.)

Semantics. If a court grants me title to lands based on a tax deed am I the invader or the defender? Does it matter?

It's not just "semantics" it's the difference between negative and positive rights.

If the land you were granted by the court is the court's rightful property, then you would become the new owner, or "defender," of it. If the court did not own the land, but stole it from someone because he didn't pay taxes to the government, the land was stolen, thus you become the invader of it.

It does matter if you violate another's NAP or not. The outcome of either to actions may be equal, but that doesn't make the methods equal - one would be exchange, the other theft.

In the Americas we own the Native American lands by Right of Conquest (by Force). The Corporation of the United States retained jurisdiction over all lands and sold it Fee Simple retaining the sovereign right to collect taxes on it and delegating part of that Sovereignty of certain parts of the Country to the 50 States foregoing the right to collect property taxes to the States and Counties parishes and districts themselves and authorizing repossession for failure to pay those taxes. So when the previously owner tries to invade; the fealty that the police have is to the law not the previous owner.

Yes I would say the state is at best there to augment the people not take away their own ability to act.

Antifa is an arm of the state a useful idiot for the capitalist elite while they think they are anarcho-communist revolutionaries. Through out North America and mostly Europe they are used like this by the state to demoralize and attack nationalists who'd come after the heads of the parasites and traitors who are selling away our nation's future and promoting decadence and destruction

The real "red pill" here is that the state, the true nation is synonymous with race, that the only genuine state is a collective voluntary extended family which is what a race is that work together in their own people's interests. Carry out your

Economic and political liberty is not a cult of individualism, Liberty means emancipation of a people to form meaningful social relationships outside of government constraint; for liberty is not the denial of collective identity but a positive affirmation of voluntary collective identities.

be america.png

Then for freedom, the only people who show up to libertarian events, and participate in freedom movements are explicitly Anglo Saxon white folk. if you do not have a collective self-interest to preserve the European folk your ideas will go into the dust bin of history with your race.

individualism-map-2.gif

Then here's a map on who voted for Republican the current small government party and who voted for Democrats the Marxist equality camp. preserving freedom and preserving the Anglo-Saxon white race is synonymous there's no government conspiracy to divide people so they can rule for a few more years there's a conspiracy to wipe the most independent and free people off the face of the planet so a globalist elite can rule the planet forever while having permanent under class of genetically inferior peasants to rule over.

Antifa are nothing but controlled opposition for the state traitors, and capitalist elite parasites. Unhired thugs who believe everything the elite ,they claim to be against, wants them to believe.

But, his meme is completely historically inaccurate because the OG Antifa did try to stop fascism in Germany and Italy, and their parties just made paramilitary security, the black shirts, and brown shirts respectively and the communist faggots got their shit stomped, and that'll happen again in the states.

when you see everyone who disagrees with you as a nazi, you can't do any good...

I really enjoyed your post it was provocative and witty I especially like the list of items under the donate heading. Love the humor. As for your question I feel that violence is never a good alternative especially when you see anyone filming coming under attack many people go to those events just to film so they can say they where there. When you see them being attacked I feel that public sentiment changes quickly, as much as it brings in the ratings it also scares the common person and I feel it diminishes their attempt at making any statement other than fear us and in such they are becoming more of a monster than the monster they are trying to defeat. Nobody wants to live under tyranny, and many will view it as why trade the monster we know for the one we don't.

Great points. You don't change minds or win people over with violence. You might enjoy the podcast give it a listen.

I will give it a listen I am always interested in hearing and learning as much as possible on anything i think that we should try and absorb as much knowledge as possible in our time here if more people did we would see so much less violence and so much more continuity.

I also think ANTIFA is far more harmful than good. Using violence and bully tactics is a terrible strategy for conveying any message. In my opinion they're just thugs, fascists in their own right. Anti-first-amendment.

Yes I don't think they are all into thuggery but it is pretty clear some people are using it as an excuse for it and that is bad. Further trying to intimidate the far right and racists makes the problem less visible but it doesn't solve it. The way to solve problems is to talk about them in the open.

Awesome Operation you got going! Upvoted and followed :)

Here was an investigative reporter that looked back to the movement of Antifa from Europe and now it's way into North America and George Soros was found to be connected as well as a few others

Upvoted and RESTEEMED :]
