Mayor of Banda Aceh, H Aminullah Usman SE Ak MM, Thursday (18/1/2018) received a guest visit from the Kingdom of Brunei Darussalam at City Hall. The entourage of Brunei Darussalam Malay Association of Brunei Darussalam (Persebar) members consisted of 15 experts of history and culture, while the trip to Balikota was led by Chairman, Prof. Dr. Haji Hasbol Hj Mail.

"We want to build a building that we plan to emblematize the name of Nurul Arafah which will be used as an Islamic center and a center of zikr. The building is expected to be able to accommodate 30 thousand pilgrims who we expect to come from various countries of the Islamic world. We already have the land, maybe Sultan Hasanah Bolkiah can help us to immediately carry out its development, "said Aminullah.

Aminullah said, the Islamic center and the center of this place of remembrance will begin to be stockpiled this year. The building is expected to cost around Rp.200 billion.

Banda Aceh which will become a dhikr city in Indonesia is believed to be able to attract wisatan from all over the world.

"With the Islamic center and center of this dhikr we will strengthen the syiar of Islam, from Banda Aceh to the World," Aminullah added.
