Crappy posts swim in steem!
Why is steem given out for shitty posts?
I've seen many crappy posts earn a lot of steem but at the same time some really great insightful posts hardly earn a dime.
This is my way of venting out my frustration. If you agree with me, kill the upvote button. Peace!
Unfortunately that's truth. But Steemit is not only in this phenomenon. You can find it everywhere.

That is how the world justice system revolves @rahul.stan...people get more attracted to the ugly side first. One is upvoted not on the reputation or the contents of the post but on the steem. We all call it a power.
Yes people rather want to earn curation rewards than reward authors. Most people vote on content that is already popular. And the trending page is usually filled with posts of same people.

Upvote for the meme! Keep at it, the first 500 Steem power is the hardest. Once you hit 1000 it's a breeze! Buy some Steem and power it up! This is a Steem money machine.
I agree. Users are attracted to SP. Most users only interact with users having more SP than newer users who are creating better content.
Let's be honest: most of the crappy posts earn nothing, but yes, when one hits the jackpot, that's annoying! Yes, I was pissed off about it at the beginning. But you just need to keep positive, forget and forgive the crappy posts, and concentrate on your own stuff, and make it as good as you possibly can. Someone was saying that Steem is a bit like a lottery and it's true in some sense. However, the more your account grow and your subscribers grow, the less your success has to do with luck.
But it's demotivating to see all your effort and hardwork go in vain when someone just writes a few lines and hit a jackpot. You're right though. I gotta work harder.
