They're Taking Errrr Guns

Last week I for some reason ended up partly watching the third Democratic debate, and oh boy was that just a train smash of pandering to potential voters. Each presidential hopeful was try to out do the other with how much "free shit" they were going to give anyone who votes for them. Basically what they were say was we are going to tax you more, especially the richer people then give you some of that stolen money, because it's not called theft when the government robs you. Andrew Yang went full internet influencer by starting out with a competition where 10 people could win $1000 a month for a whole year, talking about advertising strategy to get a vote, just pay for it. This is more to push his idea of Universal Basic Income policy that he is promising to implement if he ever becomes president, just give people money for no reason. That's kind of the route most of the hopefuls went, promising voter a Christmas list of free shit if you vote form them.

Then along came Beto O'Rourke and virtue signaled so hard that no one on that stage come close to his majesty of ultimate caring, he was going to take AR-15 assault rifles away from civilians, though a buy back program or by force if the people don't comply. Well because there is no other way to do it if people are not willy to give up their arms. This didn't go down well with folks who own 46% of the world's guns, also the fact that the AR-15 is not an assault rifle, "but it's called an AR" which actually stands for Armalite, if the band name of the manufacturer. I think it needs to be mentioned that the USA has a population of 360 million people and have 400 million guns, then you compared that to South Africa where we have a 55 million population and 5 million guns, yet our murder rate is 22,000 people murdered in the last year, with the US at about 17,000. Most guns used here for murder are also illegal, and very rarely are legal guns the cause, but still we have loads of red tape to get though to be able to guy a gun.

Away ways back to Beto, would have lots of folks pretty pissed about saying things like he is gonna take their AR's. Some folks even tweeting him, "My AR is ready for you" to which he is now claiming is a death threat. See it's okay for a democrat politician to threaten the people with force by police, theft of personal property and violation of a constitutional protected right, it's only wrong when some does it to them.
