SoS : Calendar of Steem Meetups & Events @ 27 January 2019
Steem Meetups are definitely a great way to build the Steem community.
Chatting, talking, meeting online in Discord, Steem.Chat or just through comments on posts is a great place to start.
But if you get the chance to meet other steemians in real life at a meetup or other event it takes it to another level.
The annual Steemfest is the big event of the Steem calendar but only 300 or so steemians are able to get to that each year.
In between there are a growing number of more local meetups and events around the world that can provide the ideal opportunity to get to know other steemians.
Here is a list of what's going on, when and where.
If you spot an event anywhere near you do take the chance to go along.
And if there isn't one in your part of the world maybe this will inspire you to set one up...

Hey thanks a bunch @pennsif for adding the SoCal event to your calendar!! I really do appreciate that. If anyone is from SoCal and is looking to attend we just put out a second post with more details about this next meetup. And we also have one in March already planned as well and we will be posting the details for that here shortly!
