According to Wikipedia, Meditation is a practice where a person operates or trains a mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to content its content without acknowledging the content, or itself in the end itself
Meditation is an exercise of mind. Sitting quietly in a specific practice enhances attention, awareness and creativity. It is also creation of self-confidence and a positive attitude. From the above definitions, it is understood that meditation is a method by which a person can keep his mind and brain calm and controlled in any difficult situation. With meditation you can take your mind to such a stage where you and nothing will be left to your mind and you can control every part of your body from there.
We know, so far as the great wise came to the world, they all used to meditation. Through this, they used to communicate with the Supreme Spirit or God.
Sometimes it can be seen that some people can control other people's thoughts through meditation. In fact, it is a stage of meditation where to reach meditation for years.
But be careful. Because there is good side of meditation as well as bad aspects.
And in my opinion, meditation is a way to sleeping quickly(ha ha ha). Really I try it.
