Composite Functions
A composite function is really just one equation plugged into another equation. Simple concept I can simplify even further! Take this simple example, then my SAT example.
Here, all it is asking you to do is pulg in -3 into all of the x's in the equation. You have to remember that all you are dealing with is x and y values. You are given an x to find the y that corresponds to it.
So, we really just found a point on a graph (-3,1).

What confuses people is the notation! All it means is plug the f equation into the g equation then plug in 2 into x... Like this:
Therefore, the answer they seek is -3!
