## Mathematics is both a science and a language

Is mathematics a science or just a language, useful when applied to science?

Well, it is both. Mathematics has dual characteristics, just as the light possesses a dual nature: it is considered waves when is not watched and/or studied, and composed of particles when is observed and/or studied.

Mathematics is a science *per se*, the purest and most exact of all sciences, and it is also a language when applied as an "auxiliary science", as a useful tool when is used to help mankind in answering questions, or in solving problems of other sciences or of itself as a science.
