Why is there a corelation between broader markets and Crypto?

I would have thought with decentralization, the whole proposition of Crypto is it diverges from broader market and its a new safe haven!!! But Alas thats not what we are seeing, atleast cryptocurrencies are becoming just another financial instrument for investment just like FIAT!!!!
