Content Marketing In 2020

2020 might very well be the last year for content marketing. In the 20 years I have been doing marketing online there is one thing apparent. Trends that use to work quickly get absorbed by the masses and become obsolete which means new marketing strategies need to be built.

Content marketing is starting to become over saturated and because of this organic reach is starting to suffer greatly as companies go public and start making you pay to reach your followers.

This opens up some possibilities for crypto and social networks such as steemit. To build a following and actually reach everyone and there would be a huge demand for this if it was an easy to use social network. The troubles ? Most people still don't understand crypto and on top of this tax laws make it a mess to own/ earn crypto.

That being said lets back track to content marketing for 2020. With the decrease in reach content creation will become more but also less. What I mean by this is lots of little content will be produce which will reach some people via organic. However there will be larger more popular content that has work put into it that will be organic + Paid in order to reach everyone.

Either that or other social platforms will rise and start taking the place of Facebook, Instagram etc but those will most likely be year long processes. This means any new social network you see launch you should be on and creating content for asap and keep up with it.
