Ever I went to Varanasi, I always wanted to capture something for #marketfriday. Afterall Varanasi is quite famous for its buzzing Street market full of colourful articles, cloth and foods on the way to Ganga ghats.

Do remember once you visit this old spritual city you would want to stay their forever. Such is the charisma of the place. Always crowded and so many things to explore. I only spent a day and still wanted to go back their. Small lanes, road side vendors, and hawkers selling their products to all kind of people. Let me take you to the busy street and lanes of Varanasi.

Well I started the walk with some Street delicies, and begin with hot cup of tea in an earthen Pot. Sipping and enjoying the "cardimum" flavor which each sip and refreshing myself slowly. Believe me drinking tea in earthen Pot has a unique experience

Beside to the tea vendor, there is a cartwheel selling south Indian dishes. It was surrounded by many people and I peep through the them to take a snap of "Indian Pizza" in South call it "uttappam" getting ready to be served.

I was quite enjoying the atmosphere of Varanasi which was slowly getting over crowded in evening. Not like any big cities this place brings Rich & Poor on common streets to do their marketing. A little distant away, a bird seller sitting quietlly selling two kinds of bird.

While one is green parrot, the other one I could not identify. It was pretty small in size, brown in colour. On asking the hawker says it was used by the people to set them free during Navratri for wish fufilment. (Navratri is 9 day festival of Goddess Durga).

We all know parrots are homely bird and many like to keep with them. So those few will get bought by someone.

Varanasi is land of sadhus, sages and aghoris. So you will find many beaded ornaments, and other item of their use. Those were simply lying on the road and you can pick any. But make sure to get cheated as there is no guarantee of originality.

Ahh...after long I saw a balloon seller standing on the roadside inticing kids to get some fun with the most loved playing item. Everyone plays with it and having such balloon seller is quite common in small city of India.

Like any market , Varanasi street too have many cloth item. Which include certain hosiery item for men and women. Which were kept hanging on roads for open buying option for the buyers. A kind of weekly flea market.

There are many other shops along the roadside, selling many article. From cloth to ornaments to sculpture. One can easily find their item of daily needs . I stopped in a table cover shops which has many item of table cover made up of plastic sheet.

And some house decorative lightening system. Which radiates multi colour on the road and giving the old road some attractive look.

Hopefully, I am not getting monotonnus with so many Varanasi post. But believe me in a single day I made many exploration to share with all lovely steemit people. Spending the narrow and crowded lanes makes you fell in love again and again.

There are many other things to explore which I believe bringing in another post would make sense. Today I think it is enough for this week #marketfriday by @dswigle who make each corner of the continent too closer each week through exploring world different market places.
