Barberry berries.s.

Berberis is a genus of deciduous or evergreen spiny shrubs of the barberry family, which has about 600 species distributed throughout the globe (except Australia). The name comes from the Latin "beiberi", which means "bear fruit". In Ukraine, for very sour berries, barberry is called a sour cream, sour cream or even northern lemon.
