Strawberry ghost crab

I saw crabs digging burrows in the sand on the beach, in and out of the pit while carrying sand with claw sleeves and throwing them away. The movement is very fast and done repeatedly. I took photos and videos from the source of the video recording I made into GIF Animation.

They are common beach crabs in the tropics and subtropics around the world, which inhabit deep burrows in the intertidal zone. They are scavengers and small animal generalist predators. The name "ghost crab" comes from nocturnality and its color is generally pale. They are also sometimes called sand crabs, although the name refers to other crabs that do not belong to subfamilies.

I found them on the beach in the ocean city of sawang, this animal is found on the coast of the island of Sumatra, we in Aceh named it keurungkong.
