Changes in Macedonia
MPs of the Macedonian Parliament today by a two-thirds majority have approved the constitutional changes that have emerged under the agreement with Greece.
Constitutional changes at the final stage were supported by 81 deputies, as well as attending the hall.
MPs of Macedonian opposition OBRM-PDUKM were not present at today's session on constitutional changes, who said they did not want to give legitimacy to the change of the country's constitution.
Otherwise, after approving the need for amending the Constitution, the Albanian opposition parties, Besa Movement and Alliance for Albanians, submitted their amendments, whose proposals were accepted by the government.
Under the constitutional changes, the new state name will be the Republic of North Macedonia.
