Former Catholic house, built in 1909 by architects Ignacy Kędzierski and Adam Opolski Street. Horodotska 36 (former st. Hrudetska, 2b). In the years 1948-1954 in a room of the building was placed Operetta Theater - Theater of Musical Comedy; later it was moved to Odessa, where the theater is still functioning. Since 1953 the premises belonged to the Russian Drama Theatre PrykVO - Carpathian military district. After independence - a theater of the Western Operational Command, in 2008 the theater was transferred to the balance of Lviv and called the Municipal Theatre.
Theater called Lesya Ukrayinka Drame Theatre in Lviv today.
