TALK Is Cheap (Why You Should Invest In The Next Great Shitcoin)
Listen folks, there's something people are not putting a lot of time or money into. And that is TALK itself. Since the price of this token is so low, I honestly think it would be a great investment. There is no working product yet, but I'm convinced. They'll be coming out with a whitepaper soon and some announcements shortly after. TALK is not only going to revolutionize communication but it has the potential to disrupt the entire telecommunications industry. But let's explain the whole model in detail.
TALK works by transcribing speech onto the blockchain. This means every time you talk, that speech is recorded on the blockchain. That means all speech is now censor proof. Isn't that amazing? If you didn't hear what the guy across the room was saying to you, you can now look it up on the blockchain. TALK works by transcribing brain waves into text through the sensors that we are sure that everyone is going to use in the future. Because people like that futuristic shit.
Also, zero fee transactions nearly instantaneously. We are talking like millions of TPS, even though there is no test net up yet. Just an ERC-20 token. But faster and cheaper than Bitcoin, so instant credibility there.

I seriously enjoyed this “Punch-like” discussion of one of the most useful crypto-blockchain-techno future proof state-of-the-art fintech inventions in the alt-coin space.
However, I think you forgot to leave your referral link. Isn’t that de rigeur for any guaranteed profit (definitely not a scam), coin?
Personally I can see why this must be a good deal. I heard that “talk is cheap”, so now must be the best time to get in, before the price goes to the moon.
As for utility, I sure would love to find out who’s been talking about me, so sticking all these secrets on the blockchain where I could read them sounds way better than reading them on facebook.

I seem to have accidently gathered an army of people who thought an article I wrote with an iPhone tip was “amazing” or “useful” despite them admitting later that they coundn’t actually afford an iPhone. Question: I am increasingly wondering how all this is possible, I mean not just the fraud but the entire market. It seems so rigged that given all the usual regulations I almost cannot believe they allow it to happen: Insider trading, more-than-windy business models, pyramid schemes, consumer fraud etc.
Something is seriously wrong, but nobody seems to bother.
If everybody believes that money is to be made and get emotional about it, then who is going to take the time to study whether the thing they are investing in is sustainable or realizable?

Because several large users gave the post very low percent upvotes and a few smaller users gave it 100% upvotes that meant the whole total on weighted average was close to a 1% vote. Q-Filter then penalizes the overall score by a variance penalty. This is supposed to penalize posts were there is a lot of disagreement over rewards (A lot of 100% upvotes and downvotes). Since your weighted average was already so close to 0%, the penalty moved it just under the 0% resulting a very small flag.
The variance parameters might have to be tweaked, but your post happens to be under the very rare case of having large users give it small upvotes and not really having enough smaller users to boost the post with an 100% upvote. But given the current weight behind the bot it shouldn't have subtracted more than a cent.
This issue could be solved if more curators voted on 'q-filter' content to get the associated reward. Otherwise, I might have to address the weighting issue with other fix to filter out certain votes. Perhaps, rather than simply taking any vote for a post, we use an opt in and only count users who have used the tag before?
The downvote behaved in the proper way according to the votes, but I'm thinking that maybe I need to take a subset of the votes of those who are aware of the system in order to prevent these large votes from bringing the bot's score down.
I know it didn't subtract much, I just don't like downvotes ;)
The problem I see is that only minnows normally use 100% upvotes. The larger users can reward a post with a smaller amount (and that .02% vote is over half the post payout). They can appreciate a post a lot and not want to give it a $70 upvote. A lot of people give out smaller upvotes so they can reward more quality content.
I would at least make it not hand out any downvotes when nobody else has downvoted it. I think q-filter is a great idea but I can't use it if it's going to downvote me when hr1 or another whale wants to help me out.
I'll think I will adjust the code to just avoiding downvoting if no flags are on the post. That's probably the easiest fix. I'll write a quick update post for @qfilter when the change is done. Thanks for bringing this issue up. I agree that minnows shouldn't be punished with flags when they receive small upvotes from whales.
