Renegades Love It or Shove It

in loveitshoveit •  10 months ago

When @lovenfreedom nominated me to participate in the Love it or Shove it Challenge I jumped at the opportunity. I really enjoy participating in the various Steemit contests and challenges and I thought I could bring my own particular flare, or lack thereof, to this one.

The Love it or shove it Challenge was originally started by @snowpea in this post as a way to get to know fellow Steemians. You may want to check it out and learn a bit more about her.

  • List five things that you love
  • List five things that you really dislike
  • Use the tag #loveitshoveit
  • Tag whoever you want to get to know better!

With that out of the way on to my lists!

Love It

  1. Good Friends and Family - I'm very blessed to have the people I do in my life.
  2. History - Not the stuff they taught you in school, the real stuff, the things that make you go hmm...
  3. Truth - The truth won't set you free but maybe it will set your mind free!
  4. Nature - The complexity and the interconnectedness is amazing. If you care to listen, it has things to tell you.
  5. Lifting Heavy Things - I pick things up, and then I put them down! I haven't done much of this lately but, once upon a time it was a big part of my life.

Shove It

  1. Federal Government - These weenies actually think that it is OK for them to use violence to force you to do things.

  2. Provincial Government - The same for these guys!

  3. Municipal Government - Are you noticing a trend yet?

  4. Central Banksters - Biggest racket ever...

Originally and often still specifically, a racket was a criminal act in which the perpetrator or perpetrators offer a service that is fraudulently offered to solve a nonexistent problem, a service that will not be put into effect, or a service that would not exist without the racket. Conducting a racket is racketeering.[1] Particularly, the potential problem may be caused by the same party that offers to solve it, but that fact may be concealed, with the specific intent to engender continual patronage for this party.

  5. Self Righteous People - What would we do without them?

Thanks! I was surprised to see lifting heavy things make it to the list :) I think I can relate to it... I keep lifting heavy babies many times! I do enjoy it.

Shove it is definitely a shared list. 100%

Actually the back story on that is that I used to do power lifting competitively. Haven't really had time to do much training even since our twins were born!

Whoa! Well, you can power lift the twins then. They're going to get heavier hahaha.

But wow! Powerlifting! Now I can't relate to it :D

You and my dad are so alike he agrees with both of your list 100 percent. He now uses our tractor to do all the "Heavy Lifting".

I 2nd that shoveit list.

I LOVE your shove it list! :) :) :) I'll consider doing one, thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks I hoped people would enjoy it.

I appreciated your work sir... really liked your concept sir. :)

I'm lol'ing because I nominated you in mine! Thanks for thinking of me! :)

And I lol'd even more at your first 3 shove-its and "are you noticing a trend yet?" Love that list and agree 100%!

Oh man! Matt asked me to check and make sure the people we nominated hadn't done the challenge yet. I can just hear him now, "You had one job!" I blame mom-brain. LOL! -Aimee

Oh, that sounds vastly familiar!! I'm going to be in trouble when I can't blame mom-brain anymore :-)))

It is very challenging actually, because not easy for many people to say what they actually do not like and what they like with the reason. it seem easy but when you try to think more you will realize that it is not easy. good luck my friend @canadianrenegade

An experience with us gives. Very good idea.
