Ulee Lheue Bay

Boat fisherman moored at the old port of Ulee Lheue, Banda Aceh, Aceh, Indonesia. Previously this location is one of the existing passenger ports in Banda Aceh City. In addition to serving the route crossing Sabang-Banda Aceh and Pulo Nasi-Aceh Besar, this port is also used by the fishermen to unload the fish caught.

After the tsunami disaster hit Aceh. The Government of Aceh has received funding from abroad to build a viable port 500 meters from this location.
