In today’s post, I will be taking a look at the continuation of the logo design rules.

The logo should not contain stock art

It is not a good idea to make use of stock arts in logo designs… a stock art could cause copyrights problems.
Not only that, someone somewhere might be making use of that same stock art.

The logo should not contain embedded effects

This also a very important rule to pay attention to. A good and effective logo should never contain embedded effects like drop shadows, glows, shines, flares etc. Adding embedded effects can affect the overall identity of the logo when displayed on some surfaces or backgrounds.

The logo should represent the brand

A good and effective logo should always represent the brand in some way. It is also a good idea to infuse some level of creativity whenever you are creating a logo to represent a brand.

The logo should not be too complex

An effective logo should be kept as simple as possible and still be able to convey the overall message of the brand and also represent the brand.
A complex logo will be very difficult to recognize in small sizes and all the complexity details will be lost also.
A complex logo will also be difficult to memorize.

The logo should be memorable

A great and effective logo should be easily remembered. Take a look at the top brands in the world like nike, apple, amazon etc, you can clearly see how easy their logo is to remember. An effective logo is also a memorable logo.

Thanks for taking out time to read this and I hope you liked it.
