Poem | You Can
Art transforms, moves you, nourishes you.
That's what I've been able to enjoy in the last few days. I have taken some time to listen to good music, to see an inspiring film and to nourish myself, to move forward.
Inspired convinced in the power of words, I dedicate this humble text, to all those who have been through difficult times. For all who are silent, for those who feel alone and unheard. To all of them goes this poem.
You Can
reflected such Narcissus in river.
you, living being tired and broken,
I want you to listen to me.
Know what you're going through,
I know what it's feel.
I've been there too.
I know the Abyss and its darkness
because they were my abode a while ago.
I got out of there, and I know you can too.
I know you can get it.
Embrace your dreams, let those tears run.
come here, and let us weep together
so that you may remember that you are not alone.
to the weakest ash gives birth
the largest of the fire birds.
you can too.
Loose Those fears, they don't do you good.
trusts me that I am you
that I promise that everything will improve.
Stand up, go on.
wipe that stained face
of hopelessness and sadness.
Wipe those tears
and look me in the eyes.
don't give up, please.
Falls are constant
but that's what life is all about.
Fall and get up again.
I know that the cold Burns
that the darkness starts you
the desire to walk.
But I was there too
and I went out. I know you can too.
Although the wind blows strong
Even if the river stops running and the mountains
fall down.
don't give up.
Take your wife
Look at your children in the eyes
and remember why it is worth fighting for.
Winter passes
is not the only season.
Be patient, like that tree
leafless, cold, apparently dead
awaits the patient sun
While it remains strong
feeding with its wise interior
Waiting for spring
to grow again.
