This time SegWit on LTC Will Not Be Stopped! Biggest Pools Joined The Party.
After latest fiasco of forking into SegWit Coblee the creator of LTC made roundtable with top pool owners where 12 sat and decided - pools will signal SegWit from now on (75% hashpower needed for it to pass).
I did not want to make news on this since other cool members wrote of the roundtable so i prefered to wait for pools to actually start signaling. LTC had 75% before ie on 1st April.. The joke date.
Yet it happened. The biggest chinese pools that were missing LTC1BTC, LTC.TOP, Antpool started signaling.
ViaLTC that is missing also said they will signal soon.

I certainly hope they are serious this time. I'm so tired of their market manipulation. Maybe they've realized SegWit is good for the price!
yeah we cant be sure with this funny guys :) in some time i will write another post on why its possible they did agreement on LTC while they didnt on BTC and maybe never will. but need a bit more data and less rumors on this part
What does SegWit do for Litecoin? Is Litecoin going to have it's own Lightning Network type of transactions?
for now we can think it doesnt need it and its just sandbox for BTC.

There was once a Bitcoin roundtable where everyone agreed to implement SegWit, and we all know how that turned out.
What makes you believe that everyone involved in Litecoin will keep their word?
on BTC roundtable actually they didnt get consensus - it ended up with even more fights then before
Segwit is huge, I can't wait for it to happen to Litecoin, hopefully Bitcoin will soon follow!

Digibyte voted to activate Segwit a few days ago but it's gotten almost no attention. It should kick in the end of this week. It will be interesting to watch.
That is big news for DGB. Will be watching that for sure.
