Tesla's in Taiwan

Electric vehicles have made leaps and strides in adoption in places like Shenzhen, China where the entire fleet of vehicles used for public transport have been replaced with fully electric vehicles.

Other markets are slow to adopt because of relatively muted support from the government. Subsidy grants are paramount for early adoption of EVs and act as the "priming of the pump" for eventual mainstream adoption of EVs.

Markets in Taiwan suffer from lack of government support and thus uptake of Teslas have been token at best.

It was however interesting to see a brick and mortar store attracting a lot of attention. Shame I have yet to see any deployed vehicles on the road.
