HONOUR THY FATHER AND MOTHER - MATTHEW 15:4
"Honour thy father and mother."—Matthew 15:4
- We shouldn’t wait for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day to express our love to our parents. We can show appreciation year-round by serving them and living the way they taught us to live.
- Ways you can honor your parents
- When was that last time you actually talked to your parents?
- Give them a call (don’t just send a text) and tell them how much you love them. 5. How well do you know your family’s history? Learn about an ancestor, and share his or her story. Family Search can help you get started. (Visit Family Search.org.)

As a teacher and daughter of God, I always teach my students the verses of the Bible, which they must memorize and analyze, and then debate in the classroom.
Among the verses studied in class; always placed Ephesians 6: 2-3, Deuteronomy 5:16 and Matthew 15: 4
The reality of what happened to young people in the community, did not reach 23 years of age, when they died because of the confrontation in criminal gangs.
The bitter drink of parents.

This reality is very sad for parents, where children do not honor them and their life is very short on earth. We know that a large part is the fault of parents and society; but we are teachers who must instill love as the main value and what better to teach them the word of God.
It is nice to meet your students after several years and see that the word reached their hearts, clearly the harvest of what they sow
I do not know how a mother's pain is when a part of her life is taken away from her, but it is sadder to see mothers who have nothing good to say about their children, because they never honored them.
Every weekend the teenagers die in our community, it's a reason to talk in class the first day of the week, just ask the students: How old were you? What study? What was the teenager working on? The students themselves came to the conclusion that the word of God was being fulfilled.

Honor your father and your mother; Just to fulfill one of your duties, such as studying, listening to them, helping them when they feel bad, spoiling them when they least expect it. That your parents have something good to discuss with their families, friends who feel proud of you; that's honoring your parents.

These moments remind me of my mother as a virtuous woman, her example was enough to guide us on the right path; always my pride; always try to honor her even if she has no knowledge of the word God; but I think I was one of the children chosen and separated from God, I was always afraid of doing something wrong by lying and leaving without permission.
I'm not perfect, nor was I; but now I realize that a great part of honoring my mother I owe to God, my guide. My father died when I was 13, so I do not mention it almost, if he was an example, but the most difficult years are adolescence and that was with my mother.
Now I am a mother of three children, grandmother of a princess, it is an honor to see them graduated and always aware of me; Being a teacher also helped me a lot to be a good mother to my children and to the children of others.
Thanks to this team, for remembering these beautiful moments.
