Growing a Hobby!

If you notice today's generation you will find one thing very common- they don't have any specific hobbies most of the time. I'm not generalizing the thing but just look around how true is that. Also, we who used to have hobbies back then when we were a child are far away from any hobbies. At least that's what I see around me.

But we all know a hobby can be much more than just a hobby. It's a way of exploring the world, growing creativity within us, a way of accruing knowledge and so many more. It's very unfortunate that we are bragging ourselves from any hobby. We are getting busy and what time we got as leisure we spend that on scrolling our social media feed. Okay, most of the time. If you are not on the list you are awesome for sure.

Growing up a hobby doesn't require such things. If you have a time constraint, just take an easy thing to spend on. Like indoor planting or even some small DIY things. Whatever it is, involving ourselves in any productive thing is very necessary. That's what I believe. Not only for spending some quality time with ourselves but it's a way of connecting with our life. It's a way to bring joy to our lives. And researchers say that a hobby can reduce our anxiety and stress. So, don't waste your time just scrolling on social media or sitting in front of the TV. Rather find something which interests you and keeps yourselves involve in that.

Now what would be the purpose of living without hobbies and activities?

The first meaning is to save time to do more stuff. I don't mean work but just do something in life that can give you greater pleasure and pleasure gives you more energy. The second meaning is to spend on some things that can be considered as hobbies. I'm not talking about going to the park every day to do some kind of recreational activity- but that's still a kind of hobby as compared to other kinds of hobbies. Another kind of hobbies could be in the hobby of drawing pictures or singing or whatever- maybe you're going to play a videogame a couple of times and you're probably spending at least half an hour a day.

Another thing is if you are a parent; introduce your kids with something productive as a hobby. It will help them in the long run. This should be something like mandatory in a kid's life. Or you can think about something which involves the whole family. That would be much more effective.
