You will understand that there is no easy in adult life

Last weekend, I watched "The Weather Man", although it doesn’t have any attractive posters or wonderful introduction, it is quite impressive.

The weather forecaster is a small figure, suffering the same mid-life crisis as the men around the world. He has a broken family, hopeless jobs and so on. All are too real just like everyone else in real life.

From each of his inner monologue, every awkward situation shows that people in modern cities have so many predicaments and puzzles in society, family and themselves.

Quote from the movie: “Do you know that the harder thing to do and the right thing to do are usually the same things? Nothing that has meaning is easy. "Easy" doesn't enter into grown-up life.”

Growth is always easy, but after growing up the days will always be difficult, we used to heard that some things, you will understand when you grow up.

But these things are why we don't want to grow up.

Growing up is not a choice, we have to accept and learn the rules of adulthood that given to us.

We obviously try our best to do one thing, but the result is still passable; even if we like each other, but we also know that some affection is doomed to die.

Because of those bad moments, so there will be a lot of moments, we will be caught up in the resentment of growing up: to be an adult, is really “fucking fucked”.

But what do we dislike most about adulthood?

I have a classmate, her father was a businessman, she drinks imported milk every weekday, only drink brewed coffee, using cosmetics that cost thousand, and clothes that worth my monthly expenses.

After the summer vacation, we found that she seems to have changed, wearing the same clothes as ours, and her cosmetics have become a cheap made.

Later we found out that it was her father’s business failed, the bank seized the property, and still owed hundreds of thousands of the debt.

She puts her previous luxuries in thrift stores, and every weekend she does a part-time job. You won’t see how she's different as before as if she's been living like this all along.

Responsibility is not reasonable, and also not related to age. When you stand in that position, it is natural to understand what to do.

Most of the time, we are disgusted with becoming an adult. In fact, the vast majority of people are not disliking "becoming an adult", but dislike the involuntarily after they grow up.

Just as we don't like responsibility, we just hate ourselves who can't afford to be responsible.
But it happens in the adult world, what other people care about is the result, and doesn't value the process of trying to take responsibility.

When I just started working, during the company dinner, the toasting ceremony is not lively.

As a fresh graduate that just started work, I have been careful, after someone toast, I quickly fill the cup. Not much later, I drank a lot.

The colleague sitting next to me was flushed, and I remember his alcohol allergy, and he never drinks a drop of wine from previous company dinner.

I advised him to take good care of his body; he only said: "Our leader is toasting, I must drink."
He smiled and pretended not to care, but I know that he is full of helplessness.

He was a few years older, and he didn't want to be as careful as I was. When I tried to get out and have a smoke, he pulled me down and said, "Don't smoke immediately after you've finished your drink. It is bad for your health.”

Just after he finished saying, the director handed him the cigarette, he accepts it, and light up the director’s cigarette, smoked and talked.

In the smoke, everything seems to be out of place, make a person powerlessness.

We know that our alcohol allergy, saying that smoking is bad for our health, but still can not refuse when someone handed a cigarette, and also need to accept it both hands with a drink of wine and say thank you.
That's how adults get along.

When we were young, we could cry for a toy, and the punishment was just a lecture.

Later, crying became a means of getting something out of our parents.
But we can not live forever with our parents, one day we will need to face the world as an adult.

As someone said, the first 18 years of life is like a free demo, after the free demo, we will need to pay. When we grow up, we always like to emphasize that this is a society of the jungle, to achieve their purposes, they began to become realistic, indifference and snobbery.

So when we grow up, most of the time we will remain silent, because only the silence is the highest disdain, but also is the most powerless resistance.

Growth really is a very cruel thing; we need to learn to accept this imperfect society, and to compromise.
But what kind of things are not cruel in this world?
