We modern human-beings worry incessantly and needlessly about their social status. Hence it's no surprising that we love social media so much.

However, making every device 'socially connected' has turned every device into an anxiety machine. And the machines have become symbolic of the set of all people that are judging us.

Most of us like to say that most people are hell and like to give us hell. Well then if hell is other people then hell is in our pocket!
