Purpose of Existence

I was born in a family who believe in God and was told that we can never ask questions related to God. We can only receive the info given to us when it comes to God. As a starter, things were good and in our circle, I never saw any person asking questions or raising fingers on the theory. The environment is still the same i.e. theist people think that you are insulting God when you are asking the question related to him, his existence, his purpose, his action, etc. But I believe that inside everyone thinks and have questions about this topic while there is a probability that some are too busy in the life goals that they don't pay attention to this topic. I believe people are working in different layers of information and are moving in these circles. Their life achievements are related to the layers and they hardly shift their track.

The main question I want to ask here or put a highlight on is why we are here on this planet? How come we have such a big universe with too many planets where we still have not find any sign of life rather than the one we are living on? A person is dying richest man on earth while other a poor, does it making any difference? Is there an afterlife like theist people claim or this is just a hoax? If there is a God, how to connect with him and how to know that he is the creator and we have one creator or too many?

Religions are giving signs that we can relate to God and they say that this life is a test and we have to clear the test in the end and finally meet the Almighty who is then going to pass or fail us as per our deeds. While atheists have a different theory, they believe that we are the outcome of an accident i.e. big bang theory. Both theories are stuck on a point related to each other in my point.

Point Theism: If there is a God, how to connect with him and how to spend our life in order to get successful in the afterlife?

Point Atheism: If there is no God, how can a supreme form i.e. the human being came into existence as the result of a disaster i.e. big bang theory

I have been in discussion many years with both the parties i.e. Theism and Atheism but both of the parties are beating around the bush when it comes to these points. I am not sure what I am doing here and what is going to happen after I die. Everything is clouded on this topic and I am waiting for the help of the creator to get the much-needed answers. If you have any information or opinion on this topic, I would love to hear as this has been the most attractive topic for me.

There’s no purpose, just you and your Universe, your perception of the whole puzzle

The whole idea of purposefulness is man-made and very narrow. Just meditate on it for a little

you are right, I am not negating you. I am trying to discuss both sides of the picture; purposefulness and purposelessness.

Thanks for your reply, if I am not wrong you are trying to say that existence is purposeless.

This is the most attractive topic for me too. And I believe no one can give an answer. That doesn't mean there is no answer. What I'm trying to say is that every person finds his own answer through a personal life experience. I don't know if there's a God sitting on a throne and stuff, but I recognize there's some kind of "order" in the universe. And I don't know what happens after we die, but I know there's something beyond death. My advice? Seek and find. Where? Religions can provide you some guides, but try to look into different cults: you can read Lobsang Rampa's books for example and read about reencarnation, but try to study resurrection theories too. The main thing is that at some point you are going to recognize there's things you can not know yet and you are going to try to live in a way that it won't matter what comes next. Don't be afraid to wander, because "not all those who wander, are lost". Greetings and thanks for sharing.

"but I recognize there's some kind of "order" in the universe" well said bro, we all can see that there is an order which cannot come out of chaos. I love this point you made,"The main thing is that at some point you are going to recognize there's things you can not know yet and you are going to try to live in a way that it won't matter what comes next."

Thanks for the book references and your reply :)

Thank you for this great post. Greetings.

I am highly obliged and thankful for your thoughts :)

Supreme form? The Human? Who told you that? Why do you believe that? You obviously think that the big bang didn't happen, and I must tell you that the universe is all evolution.

Cosmic evolution. Atoms started as simple. Hydrogen. Then stars came, and made all kinds of atoms (stuff that you are consist of)from Hydrogen.

You wouldn't call the human "The supreme" if you were born way back into history in which we lived on trees and we just eat leaves and are getting massacred by Sabretooths. I told you, It's all evolution.

If you don't believe in the big bang, maybe, just maybe you ought to read more about it? In our science class we are taught of such theories and the science behind them.

Collectively throughout the generations and centuries, we have gathered enough information to uncover our history. Don't you think that's kind of amazing? One man can't do this alone (man is not supreme). But through those that came before us we can now explore the history of the universe.

Simply dismissing a discovery without fully reading into it is an insult to the scientists of old. They are the ones that can't prove their own theory and they still studied them, and it turns out... they were right.

Dear Alisha, thanks for your reply. "Supreme form? The Human? Who told you that? Why do you believe that?" You can disagree on this part but I have reasons to believe this like our brain with our body is the best combination if you compare with the living beings in this world.

"Cosmic evolution. Atoms started as simple. Hydrogen. Then stars came, and made all kinds of atoms (stuff that you are consist of)from Hydrogen." Who was the reason for forming all these chemicals which are our ingredients as you said?

"You wouldn't call the human "The supreme" if you were born way back into history in which we lived on trees and we just eat leaves and are getting massacred by Sabretooths. I told you, It's all evolution."
Humans are not supreme as they are using the internet or laptops they are supreme as they have a supreme mind to develop all these things for living a better life as compared to another living being on earth.

"If you don't believe in the big bang, maybe, just maybe you ought to read more about it? In our science class we are taught of such theories and the science behind them."
Big bang could be the reason for the solar system but I am not saying that this didn't happen. I am trying to say that was that a pattern set up in order to make the earth a living place for human beings which as you well said part of the evolution of our brain. But the question is who has given sequence to evolution, what is the driving force?

If we take Einstein,"Albert Einstein's religious views have been widely studied and often misunderstood.[1] Einstein stated that he believed in the pantheistic God of Baruch Spinoza.[2] He did not believe in a personal God who concerns himself with fates and actions of human beings, a view which he described as naïve.[3] He clarified however that, "I am not an atheist",[4] preferring to call himself an agnostic,[5] or a "religious nonbeliever."[3] Einstein also stated he did not believe in life after death, adding "one life is enough for me."[6] He was closely involved in his lifetime with several humanist groups.[7][8].

By saying all that your point is there is no power who is controlling this or you believe in a power source?

Religious and philosophical views of Albert Einstein
