People tend to be drawn to social media as they see it as a totally free environment where almost nothing is a crime. So they feel free, and wee all know how craving that hunger for freedom is. I feel most social media have their uses, just like Instagram is about pictures and videos, twitter about celebrity news and broadcast , and lots of others, and so does steemit too.

But just as every other social media has its own use, steemit is intended to bring out the realness in people. For me personally, I feel steemit has an edge over other social media, as you get to be appreciated for your hard work, which is well motivating for authors. So why choose another over steemit?
